Toastbook

Terms of Purchase

Effective from 21 September 2026.

1. Who does what

The Toastbook service is provided by SC by Schmidt AB, reg. no. 556976-8392, Veterinärvägen 9, 237 32 Bjärred, Sweden. Email: hello@toastbook.app.

Purchases on the web are sold through Link, a service from the payment company Stripe. Link is the seller of the purchase itself and handles payment, tax, receipts and questions about the payment. SC by Schmidt AB is responsible for what you bought working in Toastbook.

2. What you buy

Toastbook is a web app for building, sharing and singing from songbooks. The basic features are free. You can buy two add-ons:

Both are one-time purchases. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again automatically. Prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) and include VAT. At checkout you can see and pay the price in your own currency.

A purchase applies to your space or songbook, whether you use Toastbook in a browser or in an app.

3. Payment

If you buy on the web, the purchase is made through Link. Link's terms then apply to the purchase itself and the payment, and your receipt comes from Link. Your statement will show LINK.COM* TOASTBOOK. We never receive your card details. The purchase is complete once the payment has been approved.

If you buy in an app downloaded from the App Store or Google Play, payment is handled by Apple or Google respectively. Their terms then apply to the payment itself, and any refund is requested from them.

4. Delivery

The add-on is activated immediately after payment, normally within a few seconds. If you don't see it straight away, reload the app.

The purchase is linked to your space (Unlimited) or to a specific songbook (Party Pass) — not to an account or an email address. So save your recovery link. You'll find it in the app under "Sync / invite device". If you lose it and change devices, we can't always restore the link to your purchase.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have the rights that apply where you live, such as a right of withdrawal for distance purchases. Because purchases on the web are sold through Link, Link applies those rules to the purchase itself. The terms for this are shown at checkout before you pay.

If you want to cancel a purchase, or something has gone wrong — say you bought the same thing twice — you can contact Link, or write to us and we'll help you.

6. If something doesn't work

If what you bought doesn't work as promised, you have the rights that follow from the law, including the rules on the supply of digital content and digital services. Contact us first at hello@toastbook.app and we'll try to fix it. You can also take questions about the payment itself directly to Link.

7. How long does a purchase last?

Party Pass applies to the songbook it was bought for, for as long as that songbook exists. Unlimited applies for as long as Toastbook is provided. If we ever shut the service down, we'll announce it in the app well in advance.

8. Your content

The songs, names and photos in your songbooks are your content. You are responsible for having the right to use and share what you add. Toastbook is a tool for collecting and sharing your own songs; we don't provide or sell any song lyrics.

This also applies to suggestions that guests send to a songbook.

9. Content rules

A shared songbook can be read by anyone who has the code. So you may not add or send in content that

Report content that breaks these rules to hello@toastbook.app. Include the share code or link so we can find it. We review every report and may remove content, close a shared songbook, or turn off sharing for anyone who breaks the rules.

10. Age

Toastbook is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to make purchases.

11. Apps from the App Store and Google Play

If you use Toastbook in an app downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms supplement that agreement. The same applies to Google Play's terms for apps downloaded from there.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We'll announce significant changes in the app before they take effect. Purchases you have already made are never affected to your disadvantage.

13. Disputes

Swedish law applies. This does not limit the protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

If we can't agree, consumers living in Sweden can turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), arn.se. We follow ARN's recommendations. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with cross-border complaints.
